In 2007, McVickers purchased seventy-two acres of land on Route 30 in New Lenox, Illinois for a Walmart/Menards anchored shopping center. In 2010, after starting construction in the midst of the real estate recession, Walmart opened a 175,000 square foot Supercenter store. McVickers developed the following users as part of the development: TJ Maxx, Ross Dress for Less, Petco, Chase Bank, Aldi Foods, Goodwill, White Castle, IHOP, Culvers, Physician’s Immediate Care, Pep Boys, AutoZone, Discount Tire, Verizon, Bedding Experts, Great Clips, Sally Beauty, Pizza Hut and Jersey Mike’s
