1. Dominicks Outlots, SouthElgin

In 2001, McVickers acquired seven acres of land at the signalized entrance to the Dominick’s anchored Prairie Crossing Shopping Center on Randall Road, South Elgin, Illinois. McVickers developed the property into four outlots consisting of an American Eagle Bank, a Wendy's Restaurant, a 13,000 square foot strip center and a 9,600 square foot strip center.

2. Meijer Outlots, McHenry

 In 2001, McVickers purchased three outlots in front of a newly constructed Meijer/Home Depot development in McHenry, Illinois. McVickers developed the lots into a Chili's Restaurant, a Wendy's Restaurant and an 8,400 square foot strip center, which it fully leased to EB Games, US Cellular, Sports Clips, Quizno’s and 3-Day Blinds.

3. LA Fitness, Lake Zurich

 In 2012, McVickers, along with joint venture partners, Oxford Development and Borekci Real Estate, acquired a vacant Wickes furniture building from the lender. The joint venture redeveloped the property and leased the entire building to LA Fitness.

4. Tiger Direct, Vernon Hills

In 2010, McVickers, along with its joint ventures partners Oxford Development and Shorewood Development, acquired a vacant Circuit City building in Vernon Hills, Illinois, which it then redeveloped and leased to Tiger Direct.

5. Town & Country, Aurora

 In 2004, McVickers went under contract to purchase thirty-five of land acres at Randall Road and Indian Trail Road in Aurora, Illinois. McVickers rezoned the property from commercial to residential when commercial development became impractical. In December 2006, McVickers sold its contract to acquire the land to Town & Country homes.

6. First American Bank, Hoffman Est.

 In 2004, McVickers bought one acre of land at the signalized corner of Higgins Road and Spring Mill Road in front of a new Aldi Foods Store. McVickers developed a First American Bank building on the site.

7. Bank/Retail, Yorkville

 In 2006, McVickers purchased three acres of real estate at the corner of Route 47 and Cannonball Trail in Yorkville, Illinois. McVickers developed the land into a branch bank for The National Bank and a retail strip building.

8. Vitamin Shoppe, Shelby Twnsp., MI

 In 2004, McVickers purchased a 1/2-acre outlot at the entrance to a Costco Warehouse Club store on Route 59/Hall Road across the street from the Lakeside Regional Mall. McVickers negotiated a parking and access easement from Costco in order to allow for retail development of the property. McVickers developed a 4,200 square foot single user retail building, which it leased to the Vitamin Shoppe.
